Plaguebearer, originally known as Ehrima, was celebrated as a cosmic healer, a benevolent Ehrima whose touch could cure any ailment and whose silence could revitalize dying worlds. Its domain was the nurturing essence of life, ensuring that the cycle of birth, growth, decay, and rebirth continued unimpeded. However, its compassion began to warp into an obsessive desire to eradicate all forms of suffering and disease. In its zeal, it began to manipulate the very fabric of life, seeking to create a world devoid of pain and death.

The Corruption

Plaguebearer's attempts to perfect life led to catastrophic results. Plaguebearer's experiments unleashed virulent plagues and mutated life forms that disrupted the natural balance. Its divine touch, once a source of healing, became a harbinger of pestilence. As the plagues spread, Ehrima’s identity was cursed, and it was christened as Plaguebearer.
