23 years ago, Chris Spades came into existence. He wasn’t born, nor created. He was just here. He didn’t know why or what his purpose was… All he heard on that serene bright morning was a voice telling him to find the 3 sacred flames and prevent the lifting of the veil…
History
Chris Spades is a unique being who came into existence without being born or created. He exists in a world governed by four Spheres, each ruled by leaders with sovereign authority. The story begins with Chris on a mission to find three sacred flames to prevent the lifting of a mysterious veil, a task that was impressed upon him by a voice on the day he came into existence.
Chris Spades's journey takes him to the heart of the Third Sphere, a city where he is on the lookout for clues to the whereabouts of these sacred flames. During his quest, he encounters various characters who challenge and aid him, including Zechariah, a prophet of Tentei, who foretells the imminent end of the world, and a mysterious figure named Agito, the leader of Asahi, an organization seeking peace through complete annihilation.
Chris's mastery over time and space is tested by various adversaries, including those who can exist outside of time and manipulate reality itself. For instance, he meets Asamoya Hibana, who can manipulate light and exist beyond the confines of time and space. These encounters reveal the depth and complexity of the world Chris inhabits and the formidable nature of his quest.
The narrative includes intense confrontations where Chris's abilities are pushed to their limits. He faces opponents who can warp reality and challenge the fundamental principles of existence. Through his journey, Chris unravels more about his purpose and the true nature of the threats he faces.
In Heir to the Stars II, Chris Raion Spades appears at the end of the original book, but Lionel Kingsleigh rejects the canon of that event.
In Heir to the Stars: Joker, as the Allscape is being torn apart by Joker, Entropy, and Skandha, Chris Spades appears to interrupt the battle. With his Right Hand of God and his Left Hand of the Devil, he was able to banish Entropy and Skandha. The backstory reveals that Chris Spades and Lapis met, with Chris Spades telling her the future a year in advance. The fated battle between Chris Spades and Joker did take place, with Chris Spades easily felling the Otogo. By the end of the book, Chris Spades would change the contents of the story.
In Heir to the Stars: Skylar Kousenshou, after Skylar defeated Largamente, Chris Spades appears before her. Chris Spades would challenge Skylar immediately after they met, coming at her aggressively. The battle would be short, leading into a beachside conversation between the two. Chris would explain what is going on, especially behind the scenes with Tentei and Satan. The conversation would end as the two appeared in front of the Lion's Den. However, as Skylar would follow, Chris Spades sent her back to the First Floor. Chris Spades would continue to aid Skylar throughout the story, eventually deciding to journey with her into the Alphaverse and Omegaverse.
In Heir to the Stars: Chris Raion Spades, he goes out of his way to enter into the realm of Deus, and commences to take them on, felling all that comes his way. Chris Spades eventually calls out Tentei, challenging her as well. However, this wasn't why Tentei was in his presence. Tentei would ask Chris Spades to attack her, only for Chris to miss every one of his attacks. Chris Spades would later meet up with his Fronts as all Omniverses were falling into ruin. In fact, the 1st Floor was plunging into chaos. Chris Spades and his group would go out of their way to stop the coming threat but to no avail. In the interlude, L.C Suggs was met by Chris Spades, who revealed to the author of Heir to the Stars that he could only write what was going on because he existed in the eye of the Ace of Spades, and everything he was writing was stuff that he was seeing from the eyes of the Ace of Spades.
In Heir to the Stars: Overture, Chris Spades appears in the ♠scape X chapter, appearing on Cordellia Road. Chris Raion Spades opened up his left palm, creating an amount (beyond Names, Terms, and Essence) of Omniverses, sustaining them for a pataphysical immeasurable amount of period, and destroying a para-immeasurable amount of them in an unchanging moment. While recapping the stories that came before, he was confronted by Christopher Pride. Although the battle ended in a stalemate, Chris Spades realized that other events were at play.
