Centuries later, The Keepsake of the Discordance re-emerges as a hooded figure alongside the other Cosmolantis during their invasion of the Fortress of Legion-God. Their mission, shrouded in secrecy and executed with precision, culminates in a swift departure once their objectives are met. Her return to the battlefield is marked by the same ruthless efficiency that defined her actions during the ancient war.

Plotting at the Infinity Fortress

After The Keepsake of the Auspicious is defeated by Aeon and his companions, The Keepsake of the Discordance is seen at the Infinity Fortress dock with The Keepsake of the Glory. She inquires if he is preoccupied with thoughts of Aeon. The Keepsake of the Glory attempts to deflect by noting that she was supposed to be proceeding to Mementoran Arcadia. The Keepsake of the Discordance reassures him that she is en route but mentions that she may have to confront and eliminate Aeon. The Keepsake of the Glory consents, expressing that Aeon deserves to drown in The Keepsake of the Discordance’s deep emptiness for his interference. Satisfied with his approval, she teases him about knowing what his face must look like beneath his mask, leaving The Keepsake of the Glory to contemplate. There, they confront The Keepsake of the Discordance, who dismisses them as too weak to fight her. Determined, Vayne decides to face her alone, unleashing the true power of his sword, revealed to be a pure suggsblade named Suggsbolg. The suggsblade's immense power allows Vayne to injure The Keepsake of the Discordance, creating an opening for the party to attack.

Aftermath and Restoration

Despite their victory, the battle takes a severe toll on Vayne, who had concealed his injuries. As he apologizes to Aeon for not being able to continue, The Keepsake of the Glory appears, healing both Vayne and The Keepsake of the Discordance, restoring them to full power. Mocking her for her current state, The Keepsake of the Glory tells her to wipe the smile off her face. For the first time in 800 years, The Keepsake of the Discordance feels genuine excitement from a battle she could truly enjoy. She realizes that Suggsbolg’s power was the reason The Keepsake of the Glory intervened. He confirms, stating that he saw potential in Vayne and that Suggsbolg’s activation drew him.

The Keepsake of the Glory asserts that Aeon and Vayne are now sufficiently prepared to face them, and the two groups engage in a climactic battle. Despite their combined might, Aeon and Vayne manage to defeat the Keepsakes, leaving them weakened. Acknowledging the threat they pose, The Keepsake of the Glory realizes the need to take Aeon’s group more seriously in the future. He promises to duel them again, but for now, they must continue with their grand plans. As they retreat, the sense of impending conflict and the stakes of their ultimate goals loom ever larger.
