Hidden Chapter: Ragnaraika’s Nihilistic Reign
The Nihilistic Empress
Ragnaraika, an embodiment of absolute nihilism, views existence itself as inherently meaningless. Her perspective is rooted in an absolute disdain for life and creation, seeing all forms of existence as fundamentally flawed and unsightly. This nihilistic view drives her actions and fuels her power, making her an immensely formidable opponent.
The Encounter at Voidscourge of Archethys
Aeon and his party, having just defeated The Keepsake of the Glory, are caught off guard when they encounter Ragnaraika at the Voidscourge of Archethys. She effortlessly destroys the Ragnafinity Aliezmus, leaving the party in shock and disbelief. Alize, recognizing Ragnaraika from her past, is stricken with fear as Ragnaraika begins to voice her disdain for life itself. She calls the party unsightly and blasts them with an anti-narrative spell, which overwhelms them completely. As the party lies defeated and incapacitated, Ragnaraika coldly departs to the Expanse of the Aliezmus to enact her plans of oblivion.
The Pursuit to the Ethereal Tower
Ragnaraika makes her way towards a towering structure of crystalline ether, her aura of nihilism seeping into the surroundings and warping reality. Aeon's party, recovering from their earlier defeat, spots her and attempts an ambush. However, Alize collapses under the pressure, giving away their position. Ragnaraika, unperturbed, summons powerful monsters to deal with the party. Just as the battle seems lost, The Keepsake of the Auspicious and The Keepsake of the Silence arrive to assist, enabling the party to fend off the monstrous horde.
Clashing with Empowered Monsters
When the party catches up to Ragnaraika again, she summons even more formidable monsters, each one empowered to levels far beyond any ordinary monster. These creatures prove to be a significant obstacle, their strength and resilience testing the limits of Aeon's party. The Keepsake of the Auspicious and The Keepsake of the Silence recognize the threat and teleport the monsters away with them, clearing the path for the party to progress.
The Vragvirion's Seal
Ragnaraika intercepts the party once more, cutting them off with a powerful seal unique to Vragvirion's Warlords. She taunts Aeon and his companions, telling them to sit back and watch the impending oblivion. Determined to prevent her from succeeding, Alize uses the Sacred Spear of Visaskarma to transform into an Aliezmus, creating a barrier to keep the Anti-Narrative Gate from tearing Aesarthim apart.
Confrontation at the Tower's Apex
At the top of the ethereal tower, Ragnaraika begins preparing her ultimate plan to annihilate all creation. Durendia, standing firm, argues against her nihilistic beliefs, declaring that life holds meaning and beauty. Ragnaraika dismisses her arguments, challenging her to witness the truth. She engages the party in a fierce battle, her power overwhelming and her attacks devastating. As the party nears defeat, Alize's transformation gives them a second wind, allowing them to push back against Ragnaraika.
The True Be-ness Unleashed
Ragnaraika, driven by her belief in the futility of existence, summons her ultimate weapon—her true be-ness, a monstrous form that transcends dimensional reality, pure thought, and pure being. This otherworldly form begins to lay waste to both Visaskarma and Aesarthim, embodying the absolute void she believes in. The party fights valiantly, determined to prove that love, hope, and friendship can triumph over nihilism.
The Final Battle
The clash between Ragnaraika's true be-ness and Aeon's party is cataclysmic. Despite their best efforts, Ragnaraika's overwhelming power pushes them to their limits. However, their resolve and unity drive them forward, and they ultimately manage to defeat her. As Ragnaraika falls, she mocks them, claiming her defeat was only possible because their faces now show anger and hatred, emotions she believes prove her point about the inherent ugliness of existence.
Aeon's Resolution
Aeon, however, declares that he does not hate Ragnaraika. Instead, he laments her inability to understand the beauty and meaning found through the struggle. His words infuriate Ragnaraika, who vows to erase him as she fades into oblivion.
Sealing the Gate
As Ragnaraika's presence wanes, the Darkness beyond the Void starts to recede. Aeon, awakening his underlying Sliholphinian power, uses his abilities to close the Anti-Narrative Gate. Ragnaraika attempts to force it open using her manifest be-ness, leading to a final clash between her and Aeon. Their confrontation culminates in a blinding flash of energy, and both vanish from sight, leaving behind Aeon's sword as a symbol of his sacrifice.
